Bioenergy Association of Ukraine has signed a partnership agreement with OTP Bank. The subject of the agreement is cooperation in the field of energy efficiency, introduction of energy-efficient technologies and development of the necessary infrastructure.

The contract also provides development of the financing instruments for energy efficiency projects of Ukrainian enterprises. UABio grants all necessary information and analytical support in that instruments and OTP Bank implements special financing program for energy efficient technologies - "Energy Efficiency Program".

The "Energy Efficiency Program" foresees investment loans provided by OTP Bank to legal entities for the following purposes:
• purchase of new equipment / modification of existing equipment, the application of which will allow to reduce expenses of the company for one or another type of energy (electric power, gas, gasoline, heat, etc.);
• refinancing costs that the company has previously incurred in order to implement energy-saving technologies. The terms on which financing is provided are as balanced as possible and meet the needs of potential borrowers.
